Sunday Funday Sangria

Happy Sunday Funday! Today has been a perfect day to just relax poolside and soak up the sun while drinking some delicious homemade sangria. This refreshing drink satisfies everything and sails you away straight to peace- I hope you enjoy my recipe!

  • Two cans of different flavored frozen juice concentrate (I use Hawaiian's Own)
  • 1 cup Vodka
  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 1 bottle of red wine (your choice)
  • 1 bottle of Moscato (your choice)
  • Assorted fruit (I use oranges, peaches, strawberries and apples)
  • 3 limes
  • 1 beverage dispenser or large pitcher

What to do:
  1. Dump two frozen concentrates into the beverage container you will be using and set aside.
  2. Cut up the fruit in slices and/or chunks to your preference.
  3. Squeeze any citrus into the container to get all the juice out and then place the rind in the beverage dispenser to add additional flavor during the marinating time.
  4. Place the rest of the cut up fruit into the container.
  5. Add in the triple sec, vodka and red wine.  Mix with a wooden spoon gently.
  6. Fill the rest of the beverage container with Moscato and mix one more time being careful not to spill over.
  7. Place container in the fridge and let it marinate for a minimum of one hour.
  8. When you are ready to serve, scoop out some of the fruit into a cup and top off with sangria
Happy sangria-ing!
